Your responsibilities:

As a Technical Writer at Jorgensen Engineering, you will play a crucial role in translating complex technical information into clear and concise documentation while also ensuring machinery safety compliance in accordance with applicable directives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Documentation Development: Create, update, and maintain equipment documentation, including user manuals, machine specifications, assembly instructions, cleaning procedures, and training materials.
- Machinery Safety: Support and consult project teams in machinery safety analysis and evaluations. Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate safety measures and guidelines into documentation.
- Compliance: Ensure that all documentation is in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, guaranteeing the highest levels of safety and quality for our customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project teams to develop accurate technical content to produce user-friendly manuals.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development and optimization of internal processes and tools related to documentation and machinery safety compliance, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our documentation efforts.
Your Profile and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Technical Background: Relevant experience in technical writing, preferably within the machinery or automation industry. A background as a machine technician, production technologist, or mechanical engineer is highly valued.
- Machinery Safety Expertise: Knowledge of machinery safety standards and directives (e.g., CE Machinery Directive) and the ability to support project teams in various safety evaluations.
- Language Skills: Strong written communication skills in both Danish and English, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and accurately.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for diving deep into technical topics to ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation.
