About Userlink
Userlink builds AI agents for e-commerce. The platform orchestrates AI agents that interact with customer systems through API integrations, actions and real-time data sources. The agents handle product recommendations, order status, returns and conversion optimization autonomously. This is a full agent architecture, not a chatbot framework with prompt templates.
We have paying customers, growing revenue and a product in production. The team is around ten people based in Odense. We build fast, ship often, and need a senior developer who can raise the technical bar.
The role
You take technical ownership. You design systems, make architecture decisions and ship features end-to-end. You work in an existing codebase that handles real-time AI agent orchestration, API integrations against various e-commerce platforms, and a growing number of customers with different requirements.
You define technical direction together with the rest of the team. When something needs to be refactored, you see it and you do it. When a new integration requires an architectural decision, you make it. You mentor junior developers and set the standard for code quality and review.
AI-assisted development tools are an integrated part of our workflow. We use Cursor, Claude Code and similar tools daily. You are expected to leverage them to increase velocity, but also to validate output critically. We are not looking for people who accept AI-generated code uncritically.
Who we are looking for
You have been writing code for most of your life and have solid production experience. We expect at least five years of professional experience, but depth matters more than years. You have built and maintained systems at scale, and you know what technical debt costs.
You have strong understanding across frontend and backend. You can work independently without close tech lead guidance, because you have done it before and you know what works. You are pragmatic. You choose the right solution, not the most elegant one. You take responsibility for what you build, and you have opinions about how it should be built.
