Postdoctoral Position to Study Adipocyte Signaling using Advanced Functional Genomics
Center for Adipocyte Signaling - ADIPOSIGN, invites applications from outstanding postdoctoral candidates who are interested in joining our team effort to understand adipocyte signaling states. Using an array of functional genomics approaches you will investigate how transcription is regulated by different metabolic states in human and mouse adipocytes.
The position is affiliated with the Mandrup group, based in the Functional Genomics & Metabolism Research Unit, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Southern Denmark. The department offers an international working environment with state-of-the-art facilities for next generation sequencing, mass spectrometry, and microscopy.
We expect the applicants to:
- Have a strong background in molecular biology/biochemistry with documented experience with cell biology and/or NGS analysis
- Be highly dedicated, self-motivated, and ambitious
- Have excellent collaborative skills and an interest to work in an interdisciplinary center
