Part-time Handy Person - New

The Role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Part-Time Handy Person to join our People, Love & Culture team at Umbraco. The key responsiblity in this role is to make sure that we have a cool, safe and functional workspace by doing various maintenance tasks within the office environment.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the office space by decorating as needed to create a welcoming and funky environment
• Conduct repairs on office furniture and fixtures to ensure they are in good condition and functional
• Provide support during social events hosted by the company, which may include set-up, arrangement, and minor repairs if necessary
• Manage the disposal of larger pieces of trash, ensuring the office space remains clean and organized
• Undertake a variety of handy person tasks, including minor electrical and carpentry work as needed
• Regularly check and replace lightbulbs to maintain proper lighting levels throughout the office

Your qualifications

• Experience in woodworking with the ability/curiosity to do repairs and create custom solutions for practical challenges
• A proactive approach to finding practical solutions to a range of maintenance and repair issues
• Possession of a valid driver's license. While having a car is a bonus, it is not a mandatory requirement
• English, both spoken and written, at a conversational level. Note that not all team members speak Danish, as we have a diverse workforce representing 27 different nationalities
• Ability to schedule and plan tasks with a high degree of flexibility, accommodating both business hours and weekends as necessary

Your background

The ideal candidate may be a student studying a craftsmanship-related field or a pensioner seeking part-time employment or someone in between. This position offers an opportunity for individuals with a passion for handiwork to contribute to our funky work environment.

Working hours

2-5 hours per week, with the flexibility to choose when tasks are completed, whether during business hours, outside of business hours, or on weekends. Hours can be more when we have larger projects.
