At Umbraco, we are looking for a Customer Success Manager who is motivated and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences from onboarding through the full customer lifecycle. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive the most value from our products and services.
The RoleIn this role, you’ll play a key part in developing and enhancing our customer relationships, working closely with our Sales and Product teams to ensure customer expectations align with our offerings. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, is adaptable, and genuinely empathizes with our customers’ needs. Key Responsibilities- Own the customer onboarding experience, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to sustained use
- Develop and maintain customer onboarding, adoption and expansion protocols, timelines, and resources to ensure customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product teams to align customer expectations and needs
- Develop and monitor customer health metrics and create action plans to address any areas of concern
- Provide product training and support tailored to individual customer requirements
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs and usage data
- Lead regular check-ins with customers to assess satisfaction, gather feedback, and offer additional value
- Create and manage customer success plans, processes that outline customer goals and the steps to achieve them
- Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for customer feature requests and needs
- Maintain accurate customer records within our CRM and other customer management systems
- Conduct exit interviews for churned customers and report findings to internal teams for process improvement

Besides your awesome personality, you will get plus points for having:
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or similar roles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning techniques
- Proficiency in customer success platforms and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho…)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customer accounts concurrently
- Excellent English communication skills, capable of translating complex issues into understandable terms
- Familiarity with our product line and the ability to conduct customer training
- Experience in creating and executing customer success plans
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
The role: Full-time position of 37 hours/week working on-site at Umbraco HQ
