Kitchen assistant/chef in Denmark
Me Mothers Streetfood in Odense, Denmark, is looking to hire a kitchen assistant or chef for our restaurant. We offer an exciting and varied workweek with good colleagues, a good work environment, and an opportunity for personal development.
Your work tasks will be:
You will be one of the driving forces in the kitchen, and you will work closely with the kitchen manager.
You will mostly be in charge of the cold kitchen, which includes but is not limited to preparing raw materials, keeping order and organizing, cooking dishes according to the recipes, making salads and sandwiches, helping chef with plating and decorating the dishes, maintaining the good quality in the kitchen.
Some of your other work tasks will be labeling and organizing, receiving deliveries, budgeting, assisting with operational planning when required, SoMe, working closely with the chef to put together menus for catering, events, and more.
Your qualifications:
You have previously worked in a kitchen, and preferably in the restaurant business
You are a fast learner and have a passion for good food made from fresh ingredients
Experience working with Asian cuisine is an advantage
You have good hygiene and like an organized and clean kitchen and workspace
You are a team player but can also work by yourself
It’s a bonus if you know about catering and putting together menus
You are responsible, reliable, and have a positive mindset
It is a fulltime position of 37 hours weekly. We will provide the proper training.
Salary is settled according to qualifications. We will help find accommodation if needed.
