Student Teaching Assistant Position – Software Maintenance (Fall 2026)

The Software Engineering Section at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Institute (MMMI) invites applications for student Teaching Assistant (TA) positions for the Software Maintenance course, Fall semester 2026, Odense.

The course structure includes a 2-hour lecture (given by the course instructors) and a 2-hour exercise session (led by TA).  Over a 12-week period, TAs are responsible to prepare lab exercise materials with the course instructors, assist and guide students during the weekly exercise sessions. All exercise sessions are conducted in English.  

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Have strong knowledge in software maintenance and software testing 

  • Be familiar with the course content and literature

  • Have successfully completed the course (or equivalent courses at SDU or elsewhere)

  • SDU grade transcript / degree certificate 

If necessary, shortlisted candidates may be invited to a short meeting with the lecturers.

Shortlisting may be used. Shortlisting is the term used for the process by which a smaller number of applicants are selected from the pool of applicants to undergo an academic assessment
