- Demonstrate expertise in wok cooking and other Chinese cooking techniques.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, ensuring timely preparation and presentation.
- Supervise ingredient inventory, procurement, and utilization to maximize cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to innovate and introduce new menu items.
- Uphold the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness in accordance with industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chinese Cuisine Chef with a portfolio of culinary achievements.
- Strong foundation in the use of traditional Chinese ingredients and cooking methods.
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred but not mandatory.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility in working hours, open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
