The position
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee all customer implementations. At Nordbo Robotics, we develop software platforms for robot solutions.
When we provide software platforms, we work with and through our distribution network of robotic integrators, where we act as subcontractors to the end-user. Additionally, we are starting to provide complete robotic solutions to specific industries where we will be in charge of the full delivery of a system.
You will be responsible for creating and facilitating all processes around customer implementations and after-sales activities. You will coordinate all implementation deliverables from inception to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budgetary guidelines, and that they meet the highest quality standards. Furthermore, you will serve as a vital link between sales, after-sales, supply chain, research, and development (R&D), clients, and external contractors if required.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the entire implementation lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling. Ensure adherence to project objectives, deadlines, and budgetary guidelines.
- Technical Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of our robotics and machine learning solutions, their capabilities, and their application in surface processing and quality inspection. Apply this technical knowledge to guide project teams and address technical challenges effectively.
- Business Acumen: Understand the business implications of projects and their impact on client satisfaction, revenue generation, and market positioning. Maintain a strategic perspective while managing projects and aligning them with the overall business goals.
- Communication: Possess excellent communication skills to effectively engage and collaborate with clients, stakeholders, project teams, and contractors. Clearly convey project requirements, progress updates, and any changes or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Management: Interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels, building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand their needs, address concerns, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordination: Serve as the central coordination point between sales, R&D, clients, and external contractors. Foster collaboration, facilitate effective communication, and ensure seamless integration of efforts to achieve project objectives.
- Assurance: Uphold the highest quality standards in all project deliverables. Implement effective quality control measures, identify areas for improvement, and ensure client satisfaction with the final outcomes.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Continuously monitor and evaluate project risks, implementing. necessary adjustments as required.

The candidate
Project management skills:
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, adhering to deadlines, and working within budgetary guidelines - preferably in a technical field related to robotics, machine learning, or industrial automation. Certification in project management is desirable.
Technical background:
- Strong technical understanding of robotics, automation, machine learning, and their practical applications.
Business acumen:
- Ability to comprehend and analyze business requirements and align projects with broader organizational objectives. Demonstrated understanding of the interplay between technical and business considerations.
Communication skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and manage client expectations.
Stakeholder management:
- Experience in engaging and managing stakeholders at various levels, including clients, executives, and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities and foster collaboration.
Problem-solving and decision-making:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under time constraints. Adaptability to changing project requirements and ability to find creative solutions.
Attention to detail:
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
Organizational Skills:
- You possess solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Leadership:
- As a project manager, you will be heading cross-functional teams and coordinating efforts. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set a clear direction and inspire team members, are essential. Team members will not refer directly to you, which only makes it more important that you can gather and lead cross-functional team members around a project’s goal.
