Student programmer for the Fluently project

 

SDU Robotics is looking for student worker(s) to join the Fluently team. It is an EU-funded research project with focus on Human-Robot Interaction in the manufacturing domain. The student(s) will be involved in the research activities within Fluently, e.g., developing robot applications, supporting experimental work or developing simulations. Ideally, the candidate would:

  • have a can-do positive attitude
  • knows how to code in Python/C++ for ROS
  • have experience with digital electronics
  • know how to choose parts for building a mobile robot (e.g. motors, alu profiles, batteries, controllers)
  • know how to use CAD software (e.g. Fusion 360)
  • have experience with 3D printing (we use an Ultimaker S5)
  • is available to work on the project for a longer period.
  • being familiar with ISAAC Sim

 

Even if you don't have all the above qualifications, apply by sending in your CV. The position is paid hourly according to standard SDU student worker (PROSA) rates. The student would work up to 14 hours per week during the semester and full-time outside of semesters with flexible hours. SDU is an equal opportunity employer.
