Description & Expectation:

We are seeking an innovative and driven Software Developer ready to take the next step in their career and join a team where they can make a significant impact with their work.

You will join the team that develops the software platform for Quadsat’s advanced RF test and measurement technology that combines drone technology with an RF payload, enabling precise diagnostics and measuring of the radio spectrum anywhere in the world. We are continuously striving to extend our system with new measurement capabilities, while ensuring a high-quality product for our customers.

We expect the successful candidate to have a holistic view across the whole software development life cycle working on both new and existing features.

Responsibilities:

In this role, your key responsibility will be to work on both developing new features as well as maintaining and elevating existing software solutions. This includes:

  • Creating robust and easy to use software applications in C#, Python and potentially some web technologies.
  • Taking ownership to drive the development of new key features of the software solution.
  • Contributing to the current and future architecture of the software solutions.
  • Ensuring CI/CD best practices are followed to enhance code quality.
  • Extending and improving the communication with external hardware components such as our robotics payload and GPS antennas.
  • Collaborating with other development teams (Robotics, Cloud, etc.) to align on specifications and APIs.

Knowledge & Skills:

What is most important to us is that you fulfil the below requirements and have the skills to excel in the listed responsibilities. We envision such a candidate to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar and 2+ years of experience from a previous similar role.

  • Strong and proven track record in one or more technologies like C++, C#, .NET, Rust, Go, Java or Python.
  • Solid general software development capabilities.
  • Experience in OOP and multithreaded development.
  • Experience with interfacing towards external devices (serial communication, WebSockets, or similar).
  • Experience with or interest in software architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD.
  • Proficient in git (we are using GitLab).
